Swimming Facilities at EuroParcs Hoge Kempen

Across the road is a beautiful outdoor swimming pool which you can use for free. Swimming is a wonderful way for everyone to relax in the pool. The little ones can enjoy themselves in the heated paddling pool or the playground, while parents relax on the terrace or on the beautiful lawn. The swimming pool is only open during the summer months; when the weather is bad, the pool is closed. Opening hours: Monday to Sunday from 10.00 to 19.00. Beds are hard and uncomfortable. Bed is made with 1 single bed linen, but is a double bed. On the weekdays had a lot of nuisance due to renovation. Out of nowhere the gardener started yelling at us. Bread roll service is extensive, expensive and the rolls stay good for less than 3 hours. Staff are friendly. We had made a mistake in the check-out date, but no one came to warn us. That was a pity. The location of the cottage was perfect. All day sun, if there was one. Nice seating on the porch outside. Small, but nice house. No internet, but it was due to the renovation. The restaurant is very cosy, good atmosphere, food a little less. Hopefully it will also be due to the renovation. Very nice that we could use the swimming pool opposite the campsite. Beautiful surroundings, within 20 minutes you are in a nice place. There is not much in the immediate vicinity. Except for the beautiful nature reserve of course.

Fantastic campsite with lots to do.
Quietly situated but with plenty to do. No mass tourism feeling.
Beautiful playground!
The animation shows in the evening were very nice (we did not use them in the afternoon)
The camping shop had no added value for us and, due to the limited opening hours, we hardly visited it.
I don't know if the restaurant is part of the campsite, but it seemed a bit messy and understaffed.
We thoroughly enjoyed our week's holiday. The playground was fantastic, as were the entertainment shows. The opportunity to use both the outdoor and indoor pools was also great. We'll definitely be back.
