From the port, ferries leave for idyllic islands such as Belle-Île, Houat and Hoëdic – all are day trips that will give you the feeling of being away from it all. For a cultural outing, you can drive to Carnac, known for its impressive rows of prehistoric menhirs, in less than half an hour. Fans of hiking or cycling will also find plenty to do thanks to the many routes that run through the interior or along the coast.
