Sandwiches are quickly sold and there is hardly any fresh assortment in the store
We had a great holiday with plenty of options. Stuart, the tour operator, was very accessible and willing to help. Often faster than you could have arranged yourself ;-) The campsite shop has plenty of non-perishable items in case you've forgotten something. The fresh produce section leaves much to be desired. The rolls were completely gone by 10:30. Friendly staff at reception. There was a lifeguard on duty at the pool. However, far too few sunbeds, and you'd have to lie on the stone floor with your towel. RCN inflatables were selling well, so a tip: bring one from home. There's not much to do at the campsite itself in the evening. Groceries can be done at a large supermarket about 30 minutes away. The Spar is a bit closer. Vival in Nant itself, an 8-minute drive or a short walk through the mountains. Vival doesn't sell meat for your BBQ. The evening market in Millau is very nice from around 7 pm onwards, as it gets busier. Or the market in Larzac where you can eat your dinner on-site. From pizza and galettes to BBQs or goat's milk ice cream (regular milk is also available), after which the locals dance to live music. Tip: bring a tablecloth and cutlery. A plate is optional, but not strictly necessary.
