Camping Sylvamar is situated on the coast of the South France in Les Landes. The campsite is only 900 metres from the beautiful wide sandy beach and is in the heart of a lovely pine forest. Water lovers will not get bored here with the magnificent swimming pool complex in site and the Atlantic Ocean that is so nearby.

Camping Sylvamar has 2 heated pools, as well as a fast flowing river, a Lagoon and various slides.  Swimming lessons and aqua aerobics are organised by the campsite. On the beach various activities are available, such as surfing, rafting, wave-boarding, canoes and sea fishing.

Camping Sylvamar has a great entertainment team that organise great activities for the children during the day and evenings. There is a lovely terraced restaurant with a view of the pool, where you can enjoy a snack or drink. The snack bar has a take away and there is small supermarket on site for your daily shopping.

Camping Sylvamar is situated in a beautiful area where you can enjoy hikes in the forest and are close to Basque country, the Pyrenees and the Spanish border. The worldly beach resort Biarritz is 34 km away and the towns of Labenne, Bayonne and St Jean de Luz are well worth a visit. On the coast the spectacular high waves are perfect for surfers. 

From 2026, a Landes Prefectural Decree will prohibit the use of personal BBQs and gas plancha grills. To accommodate guests, the campsite will offer five secure communal BBQ areas for shared use.

Excellent site, great staff, fab location
Accommodation was fab, situated in quiet area
Eurocamp staff Ciara and Rose were lovely
Amazing pool complex
Food offer was limited, needs another option
Supermarket was expensive and shut too early

Pools were brilliant
Entertainment staff were brilliant and so interactive, my boys loved it
Eurocamp staff were great, often stopping on the way past and checking in if they met us
Bar - closed very early and during the day. Menu was limited and only 2 working behind the bar so was a long wait, blonde lady was lovely, the brown haired girl was a nuisance.
Eurocamp office was far away from the main entrance. Bins were also a distance from the accomodation located at the main entrance
Supermarket was not kept stocked at all, bakery was lovely but rest of the shelves were more or less empty

We had a lovely holiday, weather was a bit dodgy but nothing can be done about that. Accomodation was ok, very clean and had absolutely everything would need. Pool areas were fantastic. Campsite was very clean and well kept. Zoo across the road is fabulous you can go in and feed all the animals. Beach is a 15 minute walk and is beautiful and clean, waves are a bit wild. Overall was very happy with our stay the only real negative was the bar closing so early and during the middle of the day. My kids loved the crepes and waffles but the hut was often closed when it was supposed to be still open. Bar was limited food wise and alcohol was expensive at €7 for a large glass of beer - not a pint. Shopping centre just up the road was well used by us and had everything.
