Le Tropicana

Take a refreshing dip in one of the heated outdoor pools. For excitement, choose a ride down the nearly 10-metre-high slides, where the water welcomes and refreshes at the end. In lesser weather, the subtropical indoor pool offers a fine escape, complete with inviting Jacuzzis where you relax in soft bubbles and soothing jets. The youngest guests will find their own play paradise in the over 130 m² aqualudic area, with cosy mini-slides, fountains, bows and water guns that provide endless sports fun. Just 800 meters walk to the wide sandy beach of Saint-Jean-de-Monts. The short walk or bike ride there effortlessly adds a day of sea air and sunshine to your holiday.

Between the pine trees, challenge each other to a game of bocce, jump on the trampoline field or take the rackets in hand for a game of table tennis. The new playground betrays everything: here, toddlers let their imaginations run wild with slides, balance beams and a shaded sandbox. For children aged 4 to 12, there is also a kids club, where creativity sessions, scavenger hunts and active games ensure fun and new encounters. The entertainment team also offers a varied program of sports tournaments for teenagers. After sunset, you can enjoy themed evenings, salsa lessons and discos. Meanwhile, you can find your own rest in the wellness area: relax in the sauna, steam away in the hammam or get your muscles supple in the jacuzzi. In the evening, take a seat on the terrace, enjoy a glass of local wine and soak up the atmosphere while the children are having fun. ’in the morning, the bread depot awaits with fresh baguettes, and within walking distance, you will find stores for daily groceries.  From the start of the season, there is already low season animation: Mini Club during school holidays and during long weekends (more often with many children), evening entertainment in season and at Ascension every evening, plus sports activities.

Just outside the campsite stretches the pine forest: the place for a relaxing walk or a wonderful bike ride. Hire a bike from the local partner and discover winding paths with breathtaking views. Saint-Jean-de-Monts itself is close by and treats you to cosy terraces, narrow streets and lively markets that will let you and the children enjoy colour and fragrance. If you visit Saint Hilaire-de-Riez or Saint Gilles-Croix-de-Vie, you will discover charming villages with an authentic atmosphere at your fingertips. Thanks to the short drive, you will reach the extraordinary Passage du Gois and adventurous boat trips to the Île d’Yeu or Île de Noirmoutier cannot be missed. There you will enjoy lighthouses, winding alleys and pearl beaches. For a day full of spectacle and history, the Puy du Fou theme park is within easy reach.
