The flowery terraced campsite Happy Village & Camping Roma is located not far from the ring road and the centre of Rome, in the heart of the Veio Natural Park. If you are planning to visit Rome, this campsite is the ideal choice. The campsite shuttle will take you to the nearest metro and from there you will be in the center in 20 minutes. Spend the day in Rome and return to the quiet surroundings of the campground for a cooling dip in the pool.
The main attraction of the campsite are the two swimming pools overlooking the green natural area. The pool consists of a large, deep pool for adults, while the little ones can splash around in the smaller pool. Around both pools there are umbrellas and sun loungers. The pool area is located near the restaurant with pizzeria/barter terrace where you can enjoy fine food and drinks.
As mentioned, the campsite has a restaurant, pizzeria and bar, but Happy Village & Camping Roma also has a mini-market where you will find all the necessities for your vacation. There is a dedicated area with free Wi-Fi, and if you are on a longer family holiday, it is also possible to do some laundry in the campsite's laundry room for a fee.
From Happy Village & Camping Roma it is 30 minutes to Rome, the capital of Italy, a beautiful city with many sights. A free bus will take you to the metro, and from there, you can get to the centre of Rome for a few euros round trip. Here you can see the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain, the Patheon, St. Peter's Basilica, the Spanish Steps, the Sistine Chapel and much more. If you are travelling with children, visit Rainbow MagicLand theme park, explore the catacombs or visit Rome's Bioparco Zoo.
