Camping Hunzedal

You might call Hunzedal a swimming paradise with its excellent pools and natural bathing. Hunzedal features a large outdoor pool that is ideal for water games, swimming, and exercise. There is a large slide and plenty of space to sunbathe too. The indoor pool offers plenty of space for playing and relaxing. The facilities also include a sauna, solarium, and Hammam (Turkish steam bath). The lake is calm and safe for swimming with plenty of sandy beach area for sunbathing or play.

As one of the top campsites in the area, you can expect good amenities. For refreshments, there’s a pancake restaurant, pizzeria, a bar and a snack booth. On-site sports include bowling, mini-golf, tennis, and bike rental. A kid’s club headed by Koos Konijn (the Roompot Parks mascot) features arts and crafts, sports events and tournaments and there’s also a games room.

The area boasts many bike trails for exploring the local scenery and small towns around the campsite. Horse riding stables are nearby if you want to see the countryside from a different perspective. The local attractions include a prison museum, a prehistory museum, a toy museum and a Shakespeare Theatre as well as a butterfly park and the forest park of Boswachterij Gieten Borger.
