Camping de Flaasbloem

One of the first things you notice upon entering the park is the large swimming pool in Smuggle Beach in the middle of the park. On the sandy beach, little ones can splash around with water and sand while you watch from your towel. Part of the lake is shallow and fenced off for children, while older youths line up for one of the slides that opens into the lake. There is also a pontoon in the water that you can dive from. Besides this natural pool there is also a fun play pool for children with all kinds of attributes, and should the weather be really bad, you can make reservations for the indoor pool, which the Flaasbloem also has. 

During the school holidays, the recreation team with Sammy, Alex, and Emma provides a fun entertainment program for the children. Every morning and evening the Flaasbloemel, the little train of the park, picks up children from all over the campsite to do crafts, dance, or tell an evening bedtime story. Also on the program are scavenger hunts, tournaments, (children's) bingo, and other fun activities. A fair, square party and ghost tour complete the program. In brasserie the Smokkelstrand you can go for dinner or just a drink, and for a quick bite, the snack bar is open. Everything, including the well-stocked supermarket, is located here around the central square, and everyone meets here.

In Chaam, a 5-minute drive away, there are 2 supermarkets if you want to do some more extensive shopping. Several bicycle routes start from the campsite, so hire a bike (or bring it with you) and explore the surrounding forests. You are also within easy reach of Belgium from here. A visit to Baarle Nassau and Baarle Hertog should not be missed. Also nearby is 't Zand, a recreational lake with a beach, if you want to see something different for once. A day of shopping in Breda or Tilburg is also highly recommended.
