Camping de Grienduil

There are no swimming facilities on the campsite itself. However, water lovers within the family can swim to their heart's content in the open-air swimming pool located just two kilometres from the campsite. If the weather is not so good, you can swim lengths in the indoor pool six kilometres away.

Camping De Grienduil is ideal for families with small children. The park-like campsite has a wonderful outdoor playground with a climbing set, slide and sand pit for hours of fun. Furthermore, you can hold an exciting jeu-de-boules tournament with other camping guests or throw darts at the dartboard. The board games are always available for those rainy days. Furthermore, the campsite offers bicycle rental, so you can admire the beautiful nature from the bicycle. Thanks to the bread and breakfast service, you can enjoy a tasty meal every morning. Camping De Grienduil is located on the edge of the village of Nieuwland. The beautiful water landscapes in the area make it the perfect base for walking along the quiet banks and enjoying the view. Sailing enthusiasts can enjoy the waters of the Upper Merwede. At Slot Loevestein, you can step into the world Hugo de Groot wanted to escape from. The museum Het Hofje van Mevrouw van Aerde and the Gorcums Meseum are also interesting destinations for a day out.
