Camping Montargil

Take a refreshing dip in the rectangular pool at Montargil campsite in the Portalegre region. There are sunbeds and umbrellas by the pool for sunbathing with a good book. There is also a shallow paddling pool available for toddlers. For more water fun, walk to the beach at the reservoir just 150 metres away. The entertainment team organises all sorts of activities for children aged six to seventeen. Adventurers climb the climbing wall, take part in a paintball competition, or canoe across the water. Thanks to the multifunctional sports ground, you can work on your fitness during a sports competition. There is also a campsite shop just a hundred metres away for daily shopping and fresh bread. You can also enjoy a snack and a drink at the friendly restaurant and snack bar.

Montargil reservoir invites you to try all kinds of water sports. Windsurfing, water, and jet skiing, sailing, or fishing are just some of the activities you can do at the lake. Furthermore, you will find numerous hiking and cycling routes throughout the area. Families with children take a trip to the aquarium Fluviário de Mora. Here you will find special fish, snakes, turtles, and otters. Moreover, the colourful city of Lisbon is just an hour and a half's drive from Montargil campsite.
