With its Roman heritage, impressive seaside amphitheatre and the beaches of the Costa Dorada, this historic city offers a wonderful contrast to the tranquillity of the interior, perfect for a varied vacation day. Visit the archaeological museum or stroll along the Rambla Nova with its cafés, palm trees and quaint boutiques.
