Camping Siesta is a Charme Camping, the only one in the Belgian Kempen. Charme Campsites are characterised by an attractive and charming campsite and by the beautiful location, pleasant atmosphere and hospitality of the campsite manager.

To cool down, you can of course settle down under the trees and enjoy the birds' chirping, but if you prefer a dip in the pool, there is Netepark, a 15-minute drive from the campsite. In this park you will find an indoor pool with 68-metre slide, an outdoor pool with large water play area, and also a large playground with lots of equipment, trampolines, mini golf and BMX track. Fun for a day out!

Facilities at campsite Siesta

If you are here during the summer holidays, you can join in with various activities organised by the entertainment team for young and old. A beer tasting, dart night, western party or star show, several times a week there is something to do. The campsite has a real tapas bar, 'La Cantina', where you can join us from Friday to Sunday for a snack and a drink at very affordable prices. From the terrace you have a view of the playground. The forest is also a nice place for children to play. The village of Lille (not to be confused with the city of Lille) is 1.5 kilometres away. Here you will find various shops.

Surroundings of Siesta

Right next to the campsite is a vast forest, with a large network of cycling, hiking and mountain biking routes. The campsite is centrally located for nice trips in the area. For example, you can take the whole family to Bobbejaanland (18 km away), go shopping in the large Wijnegem shopping centre near Antwerp or visit the Westmalle Brewery to taste beer!

50 euro cleaning fee and still expected to empty bins before leaving
Caravan was nice although not well equipped all supplies pots/plates etc very basic to the point of being bare minimum of items you require to cook with. No cleaning/ welcome pack supplied so no washing up liquid, dish cloth etc. Not even a single toilet roll in either if the bathrooms. On second evening, the dishwasher drainage pipe broke and flooded the entire kitchen, toilet behind kitchen and went into the bedroom, had to try and call an out of hours number to alert staff after 2 attempts managed to speak to someone who came up to the caravan with a bucket and some cloths to try and clean it up, dirty dish water all over the floors and didn't even bring any cleaning products to actually clean it with
