Camping Grand Kažela in Istria sits next to the clear blue waters of the Adriatic, offering a lovely base for a camping holiday. In a lush environment that puts you close to nature, this popular luxury camping site has superb facilities and two kilometres of beaches.

Swimming facilities at Camping Grand Kažela

This luxury camping destination offers direct access to a long pebble beach with stunning views of the Adriatic and pretty islands off the coast. Explore the sea life by going snorkling or hire a boat. If you prefer to relax at the pool campsite offers a great choice. There are no fewer than two beautiful new swimming pools, so you will never have to walk far to cool by the pool. One of the pools is elongated and slopes gently, while the other has a children's pool and a great slide. The children's pool is covered with a canopy, which is convenient for the little ones. There are sunbeds alongside the pools, or you can rent a set of luxury sunloungers with a roof.


Facilities at Camping Grand Kažela

Daily activities keep you busy with dance classes, fitness classes and sports tournaments, and the campground has its own courts for tennis, beach volleyball and badminton. Surroundings of Camping Grand Kažela

Situated on the southern end of the Istrian peninsula in Croatia, the Medulin Riviera is an enchanting destination with picturesque landscapes and exciting recreational opportunities. Trails for hiking and cycling are just outside the campground. The Roman arena of Pula is only 12 km from the campsite. You can also explore the area by boat.

Beautiful but areas for improvement
Beautiful campsite.
Very close to the sea which was crystal clear
Clean and tidy
Massive queues at reception. Had to wait for AGES.
VERY long walk from reception to our accommodation (Eurocamp) and also to any of the facilities
Expensive. Charged for everything including sun loungers by the pool. Washing machines very expensive.

he campsite was beautiful and in a fabulous location on the coast. It was clean and tidy and in the main modern and well designed. Swimming in the sea was amazing. Definitely take your snorkel! Accommodation was spacious, modern, clean and well-equipped. The quality of the facilities was great and there was plenty to do. It's also well located near Medulin - a 40 minute walk or a short bus ride. There is also a 'tourist train'. Reception was understaffed. We had to wait for at least an hour to check in - and queue in the baking heat. This seemed to be the case most of the time and it meant that caravans and camper vans waiting to check in were backed up on the road outside the campsite, with long queues in the sun to even get into the reception building. It's not a great start to the holiday. It was then a 20 minute walk from reception to our accommodation (we didn't have a car) so we had to walk. Very disappointing that there wasn't a shuttle or buggy that could have taken us there. The campsite is beautifully situated along the coast but it's long, thin layout means that it can be a very long walk to the swimming pools etc. There are 3 washing machines for the whole campsite and you have to queue at reception for a token.
