Campsite Stella Maris is situated in a centuries old pine forest. Part of the resort Sol Stella Maris, this complex has everything you could wish for!
Swimming at Stella Maris

There is a swimming pool, completely renovated in 2018, with a deep pool and two children's pools. Along the campsite you will find a long beach (which has been declared the most beautiful beach in Croatia on several occasions!), where the sun loungers are waiting for you. Water sports enthusiasts will also have a great time at Stella Maris. You can go diving, surfing, go pedal boating or kayaking here. There is a special Marina where you can moor your boat.

Facilities at Stella Maris

If you don’t feel like cooking after a lazy day on the beach then visit one of the many restaurants on site and try some delicious Croatian specialities. Besides the local cuisine there are pizza and chips on the menu. Once the midday heat is over you can enjoy yourself with a game of football or volleyball. Younger children can enjoy themselves in the new playgrounds. The sanitary facilities at Stella Maris are excellent. Stella Maris has many sports facilities. Tennis fans will love it here as at the end of July a professional ATP tournament takes place. Watersports lovers are also well-catered for, with diving, surfing or kayaking. There is a designated marina where boats can be moored. For the children there are several animation clubs all aimed at different age groups. Adults do not have to feel left out as the animation team organises Croatian dance and language classes and various other workshops. For the older children there is a disco. For all these activities you simply take the tunnel which separates the peaceful campsite from the lively resort next door.

Surroundings of Stella Maris

The lovely town of Umag is nearby and can be reached by bicycle or on foot.  If you would like something different for a day then take the ferry to Venice!

Effective immediately, the following rules apply: Due to fire risk, the use of a charcoal BBQ is not allowed on the campsites. An electric or gas barbecue is allowed. Many campsites have special fire-safe stone BBQ (places). These are free to use.
In the ATP Sport Arena Stella Maris from 29th to 31st May, a big event is going on, Sea Star Festival powered by Exit. During those periods, we expect more ongoing activities and visitors, movements inside and outside of Stella Maris resort and consequently less peace and harmony than usual. The 36th edition of the ATP tournament Plava laguna Croatia Open Umag will be held from 10 to 19 July 2026 in the ATP stadium Goran Ivanišević in Stella Maris. During this period, we expect more ongoing activities and visitors, movements inside and outside of Stella Maris resort and consequently less peace and harmony than usual.

Had a wonderful holiday in a superior mobile home. We had a very nice location (in a circle), but the location can certainly make or break your holiday. The bakery on the campsite is expensive, go to the kozum shop on the resort. A tip is to bring your bikes, very nice to go to umag by bike or cycle along the coast. Furthermore, very clean well maintained campsite. Plenty of parking and clean accommodation. Enough playgrounds for the little ones. Swimming pool is too, but very fresh. We have been to the sprayed sandy beach a lot.
