For plenty of peace and quiet, Camping Ballum in Bredebro is the right holiday destination. Managed by Dutch owners since 2017, this charming campsite is located in the middle of the Danish National Park Vadehavet. Nearby is the Wadden Sea island of Rømø, where you walk along Europe's widest sandy beach. Picturesque towns such as Tønder and Ribe are also nearby.

This campsite is around five kilometres from the beach. Here you have every opportunity to take a refreshing dip in the sea, build sandcastles or relax on the beach with a book. Or get to know the water in a special way by going mudflat hiking near the Wadden area.

Facilities at Ballum Campsite

The friendly campsite has a large playground with a sandpit, swings, a seesaw, and two slides. In addition, children happily jump on the bouncy castle or clamber on the climbing wall. There is also an area for watching television, playing darts and table football. Thanks to the campsite's bicycle rental service, you can explore the beautiful nature in the area. For children, children's bikes and go-carts are available free of charge. During the summer months, the campsite organises weekly activities. There are also numerous activities nearby, such as the Danish fierljeppen championships in Buntje and a folk music festival in Tønder. In winter, visit various Christmas markets in the area.

With Vadehavet National Park just around the corner, walkers, cyclists, and birdwatchers enjoy hours of trips along the region's impressive birdlife. Picturesque towns such as Ribe, Møgeltønder, and Tønder are also nearby. Families with children visit the world's oldest Legoland park during a camping holiday in Billund.
