Camping La Grand’Terre is uniquely located in the beautiful region of the Ardèche, directly on the river “Ardèche”, with a fantastic private sandy beach. This great family campsite is fantastic for young children who want to enjoy the sunshine and nature.

Swimming facilities at Camping La Grand'Terre

On arrival you will drive down a beautiful lane edged with palm trees. This will lead you to the playfully shaped swimming pool and children’s pool with a slide. Directly next to the pool is the bar where you can enjoy an ice cream or a refreshing drink. The private little beach has great views of the cliffs that are on the other side of the river. In the shallow, slow streaming water the children can enjoy themselves for hours.

La Grand’Terre is a peaceful family campsite, with various activities organised for children in high season. In the evenings you can enjoy regularly organised shows and performances. There is a fantastic restaurant and supermarket on site, but for more selection there is a large supermarket only 5 minutes away by car. The accommodation is not far from the pool and have some great views of the countryside.

The town of Ruoms is a few kilometres from Camping La Grand’Terre, where you can explore the town and touristic shops whilst enjoying a delicious ice cream. Just a short drive along the Ardèche you can visit the famous Vallon Pont d’Arc or enjoy a day canoeing down the scenic river.
