Camping L'Oree du Bois

The campsite boasts a swimming pool complex of no less than 2000m² and all the pools within it are heated. This complex contains a swimming pool, a lazy river, Jacuzzis, massaging water jets, water slides, and toddlers’ pool with mini slide. The Atlantic coast’s sandy beaches are just 3 miles away. Popular beaches for body boarding can be found to the west at the ‘Côte Sauvage’.

Camping L’Orée du Bois is bustling with activity. There is a large children’s play area with challenging apparatus (2-15 yrs), a sports area for football and basketball, a games room, table tennis, and trampolines. The campsite has its own restaurant and bar serving traditional dishes and other specialities. In high season, there is also a snack bar/pizzeria where you can dine in or takeaway.  Camping L’Orée du Bois has WiFi (payable) access on the campsite.  

There is plenty to do in the local area of Camping L’Orée du Bois. You can go on a bike ride along the unspoilt coast of La Palmyre, visit the islands Ré and Oléron, or go to the popular towns of La Rochelle, Royan and Saint Palais sur Mer. If you prefer to be more active, you can go surfing or sailing, or try out the challenging tree walking course next door to the campsite.
