Camping Torraccia

The campsite near the town of Cargèse has a swimming pool with a water slide. Sun loungers and wicker parasols make this part of the site a popular spot for young and old alike. The beach is just a 5-minute drive away, where snorkelling in the azure-blue water is popular, as are various other water sports.

Children can enjoy themselves in the playground, around the table tennis table and on the multi-sports pitch, playing volleyball, badminton and (mini) tennis. Pick up your fresh bread at the campsite in the morning and make use of the various catering options within a 100-metre radius. Bad weather is rare here, but we’ve thought of that too, with plenty of entertainment options. Thanks to the intimate nature of this site, this camping holiday is all about relaxation and tranquillity.

The beautiful little town of Cargèse, with its ancient Greek architecture and a stunning Byzantine church, is a 10-minute drive away and is the perfect place for a dinner featuring authentic local produce. It goes without saying that all sorts of delicacies come from the Mediterranean, but pizza and pasta are also on the menu at many restaurants. Take the lovely coastal route to the citadel of Ajaccio or drive inland to the A Cupulatta tortoise reserve. Marvel at the bays and caves of Scandola Nature Park during a cruise. Corsica is a paradise you’ll never want to leave.
