Camping Domaine du Lac

Swimming will be a party here, and not just for the kids. In the middle of the campsite, there is an attractive swimming pool witha  separate paddling pool – clear and safe, just the way you like it. The big attraction is still the natural lake with a small beach, where the water runs slowly and is ideal for little water rats. While they play on the inflatable play castle on the water, or splash around with their inflatable crocodile, you enjoy the view over the water. It feels a bit like a hidden paradise surrounded by trees, but with all the comforts of home.

This campsite is orderly, friendly and particularly suitable for young families. There is a playground, a sports field and in the summer, occasionally, activities are organised. No busy entertainment program, but rather the space to determine the rhythm of the day yourself. Play games on the terrace, play soccer with new friends or get an ice cream together at the restaurant – here it's all about the simple things that make a vacation special.

On the terrace of the restaurant, you can look out over the lake while enjoying a drink or a nice meal. No fuss, just good and cosy. For daily shopping, there is a small store at the campsite, and larger supermarkets can be found a short drive away.

The Dordogne is a region full of charm, and from the campsite, you can go in any direction. Visit the atmospheric town of Montignac, where you can enjoy fine dining or stroll through the stores. A 15-minute drive away are the famous caves of Lascaux – exciting én educational for children. Also fun: a day canoeën on the Vézère, or a visit to the medieval town of Sarlat with its lively market and cosy squares.

For families who love nature and culture, there is plenty to discover: castles, caves, small villages and child-friendly hiking trails. All at your own pace, without crowds.
