The swimming pool at Camping Belledonne has 3 pools, one of which is a children’s pool. Whilst you are relaxing on the sun loungers you can appreciate some of the stunning landscape of the Alps.


The campsite facilities at Camping Belledonne

Camping Belledonne has some great facilities to entertain children. The campsite has a fabulous playground and the entertainment team organise various activities for young children. In addition to this, the campsite offers other facilities that can occupy the family, such as tennis, table tennis, football and volleyball.

In the heart of the campsite is a cosy restaurant where you can enjoy the most delicious local dishes whilst enjoying splendid views. There is also a snack bar on site available for quick meals and cool refreshing drinks.

Nearby Camping Belledonne

Camping Belledonne is located in the beautiful natural region of Oisans, ideal for scenic mountain hikes, especially in the Oisans valley. There are also some extreme sports available in the area such as white water rafting, canoeing, hydro speeding, mountain climbing or paragliding!  


Alpe d’Huez is less than 13km away which offers you something unique for your summer as you can do summer skiing and tobogganing! There is a huge range of activities available by staying in camping Belledonne, but if you wish to visit an authentic French town, Bourg d’Oisans is not too far away. 

The Tour de France will pass by the campsite on 24 and 25 July. You can stay at the campsite as usual, but it will not be possible to enter or leave the campsite by car on 24 and 25 July. Arrival and departure will therefore not be possible on these dates.

We had a fantastic time at RCN Belledonne – it turned out to be even better than expected! The site is perfectly located for family camping and hiking holidays, with beautiful scenery all around. The facilities are well-kept, the atmosphere is relaxed, and everything feels very family-friendly. It’s a great balance of comfort and adventure, and we truly enjoyed our stay. We’ll definitely be coming back!
