To get to the beach you have to leave the camp and cross the busy road (very dangerous with children) as you also have a lot of luggage with you
You have to walk to the playground/beach/store/swimming pool on the road where everyone from the camp drives. Everyone drives slowly, but it's still very narrow and very dangerous with children.
The exit barrier never opened for us. If no one was at the reception, we always had to wait until someone with a French license plate drove out.
It was a lovely holiday. The staff were all very friendly, and most of them spoke English. The swimming pool is wonderful for children, with indoor and outdoor areas and lots of slides, and you can find everything you need in the restaurant and shop. The sanitary facilities are a bit dated, and some areas could use some renovation and make them more welcoming. It's quick to get to town. A major drawback is that to get to the sea (which is actually the main reason we came), you have to leave the camp and cross the busy road. It's a strenuous walk with children. There's also a "main road" in the camp where everyone drives in and out, and it's very narrow in places, and you have to walk right along this road if you want to get to the playground/swimming pool/shop or the sea. We felt comfortable, but compared to other campsites we've been to, this one doesn't come anywhere close. Not that it was bad, but there are definitely much nicer and more convenient ones.
