The pool area has a retractable roof, so you will always swim in comfort, whether the sun is shining or the first drops are falling. Teens and parents can show their sporting side during sports tournaments or a game of table tennis, bocce and soccer on the sports field. When evening comes, entertainment is scheduled with shows, live music or theme nights where everyone laughs, dances or claps. The snack bar serves tasty meals to end the day, so you don't have to cook for yourself and can just enjoy being together. Start at the beach at Tharon itself: here, not only is swimming and sunbathing fun, but also shore fishing or a long walk along the surf feels like a little expedition. Just a few minutes' drive and you'll find yourself in Pornic, a charming port town with colourful boats, cosy terraces and an attractive medieval centre. A little further away are Saint-Brevin-les-Pins and La Plaine-sur-Mer, both perfect for a day at the beach, a picnic by the dunes or a sporty walk along the coast. For those who want to take trips, the salt marshes of Guérande are breathtaking to see: impressive nature and a glimpse into centuries-old salt mining. Just as special is a boat trip through the marshlands of the Brière Nature Park, where the tranquillity and the bird-rich landscape will make you forget that you left the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind not so long ago.
