The site comes complete with a huge water park with a number of slides for families to zoom along and this is a popular place for guests to gather during their luxury camping experience. Simply laying back and drifting away on the lazy river is a good way to unwind for a while there is also a heated swimming pool that is covered with a retractable glass dome that provides a tranquil space for those who prefer to swim laps. The lakes at the campsites is only for fishing. Guests can’t swim in the lakes.

There are three different clubs for kids to join at Domaine des Bans, which means that kids from five to seventeen years old will find plenty to keep them entertained. It’s ok for a couple of nights.
Eurocamps rep was helpful on the phone
Mosquito nets/blind in bedrooms. But why not in bathrooms?! Crazy.
Kids enjoyed the slides though the pool was freezing so couldn’t stay in long
Paper thin walls in mobile home - noise passes straight through. Cockerel crowing nearby woke us up very early.
Very cramped in mobile home even though we were 2 adults and 2 kids in a 6-person home. Too much squeezed in.
3 bedside lights not working and one very wobbly single bed that banged against the wall at every movement. Having to clean everything on the long list before 10am checkout! Too much.
We were in a mobile home. It was alright but we were glad it was only 2 nights. It was end of season and pretty quiet which we didn’t mind.

The owner would have to restore the watermill to attract public. There is much more to be gained, including turnover.
Many Dutch and French, a lot of commotion about the swimming shorts, swimming trunks compulsory. The owner can get a lot more out of this site but would have to invert to really go to 4 stars. Organizing French and Dutch evenings, more fun. 12 years ago it was all that way except for the pool. The children see this differently as long as they have fun. They did and then the parents enjoy themselves too. If I have to compare the Yellow Village Les Mouettes, this one cannot match this.
