A gem
A lovely place with friendly staff and owners.
There were often events such as music, games, and shopping for fresh vegetables and bread.
A gentle pool for young children. Our youngest, aged 6, got used to the water and learnt the basics of swimming here.
Because the staff were so nice, they didn’t say anything to the guests who were taking up a lot of space. It was a shame and, at times, a great source of irritation.

We arrived with our rucksacks and travelled by train from Denmark. We had a lovely holiday in Navarrenx, and we’re actually a bit reluctant to recommend the place to everyone, because it’s such a gem.
