Camping Maguide

The campsite is located directly on the water, where you can swim, bathe or take a dip from one of the jetties. It is possible to bring your own boat for a trip. The playground with slides is an attraction for the youngest water adventurers. You can play beach volleyball or just sunbathe on the beach. There is a hot tub at the campground that doubles as an indoor pool. A beach day on the Bay of Biscay with even more water sports activities is also an option.  

Camping Maguide offers many amenities to make your vacation easy and relaxing. Enjoy a delicious meal at the cozy restaurant, have a drink at the beach bar or buy groceries at the supermarket. You can also rent bikes and explore the green surroundings on two wheels, a great way to experience the beautiful nature. Surprise yourself with a good book from the campground library and enjoy a quiet day at the lake. There is plenty of entertainment for children with the entertainment team or in the inviting playground. Adults can participate in sports tournaments, water gymnastics or a leisurely game of petanque in the setting sun. When evening falls, the central area is buzzing with activities and entertainment. Here you can feel the real French camping atmosphere - warm, lively and full of vacation fun.

If you are willing to set aside two hours, you can book a dolphin and whale safari on the Atlantic Ocean, an experience for all ages. In the woods around the campsite you can also admire nature: see wild boar, deer and many species of (predatory) birds such as the kingfisher. Bisc'Aventure is a ten-minute drive away and is a fun day out for children, as are Aquapark Biscarrosse and the Arcachon Zoo. Experience culture at one of the markets in Sanguinet, or of course in eye-catching Bordeaux: take a selfie with the family at Place des Quinconces or Pont de Pierre and photograph even more stunning architecture. Basilicas, cathedrals, you will be spoiled for choice. And of course, you must taste the wine here!
