Camping Interlude

At Camping Interlude, the water fun begins immediately, whether you love splashing in the pool or prefer paddling in the sea. The heated outdoor pool is clear, ideal for families. For the little ones, there is a separate paddling pool with shallow water where they can play safely. While the children enjoy the water jets and the fun water castle, parents relax on the sun loungers under the sun, overlooking palm trees, while listening to the happy twittering of children and smelling the scent of pine needles. If you like to go to the sea, within a few minutes you can walk to the Gros Jonc beach, a lovely, wide sandy beach right behind the dunes, which you can easily reach even with a baby buggy.

This campsite is really set up for families. There are several playgrounds where children quickly find each other. The animation team organises daily craft afternoons, sports tournaments, and beach games, and children from 5 years are welcome in the children's clubs, so you can have some time for yourself. For example, to relax in the indoor spa or enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace of the restaurant, where you can taste delicious local dishes fresh from the island. Do you feel like cooking together? In the campsite's supermarket, get everything you need. And you'll never forget that French baguette in the morning, fresh from the oven. Good to know: there is no cell phone network on the campsite (3G, 4G). Some real quality time with the family!

Île de Ré is an island to fall in love with. From the campsite, you can cycle straight into the beautiful countryside. The island is known for its quiet bike paths through vineyards and pine forests. On the way, you will pass charming villages such as La Flotte and Saint-Martin-de-Ré, with their white houses, small markets and cosy terraces. Taking a boat trip? From Saint-Martin, you can even spot seals! A visit to Fort La Prée or the Phare des Baleines lighthouse is also recommended. And if you do want a day of more action, the aquarium of La Rochelle is nearby, a feast for young and old.
