Camping La Davière Plage

Water fun is a regular part of the day here. The heated pool with jacuzzi is a wonderful place to ’gently swim some laps in the morning. Afterwards, the new sunbathing lawn awaits you with comfortable loungers, ideal for drying off with a book or a fresh croissant from the store. For the little ones, there is a separate paddling pool én a leisure pool where they can splash around safely. The aqua park is orderly and fun, and always lively without feeling crowded. And with the beach within walking distance, you have the choice every day: pool or sea?

As soon as the suitcases are unpacked, the enjoyment can begin. Children can expend their energy on the trampolines, in the playground or on the multisport field. In July and August, Dino and the animation team provide a well-filled program full of treasure hunts, craft sessions, nature workshops and sports tournaments. At the educational farm, children learn how to care for animals, pet sheep and feed goats. For ages 5 and up, and guaranteed to be a hit.

For parents, there's plenty to do, too. Pilates outdoors, long-shore on the beach, or a game of bocce, and all in a relaxed atmosphere. In the cosy central area of the campsite, you will find the bar, a nice place for coffee or an aperitif. The snack bar offers takeaway meals such as French fries, pizza and even mussels or chicken. Prefer to cook yourself? There are communal barbecues and planchas available. And, of course, there is a store for fresh rolls and handy groceries.

From peaceful bike rides through the green state forest to adventurous days out, the area around Camping La Davière Plage**** is full of surprises. The campsite is located in the middle of a beautiful nature reserve, so you just hop on your bike for a ride through the 2000-hectare Pays-des-Monts forest. Along the way, you will encounter dunes, birds, wetlands and sometimes even wild rabbits. Even beach fishing or simply searching for shells with the children is are daily fare here.

For a special day out, hop on a boat to the island of Île d’Yeu, with its hidden beaches and rugged cliffs. Rather take the car? Then visit the atmospheric Île de Noirmoutier via the famous Passage du Gois, accessible only at low tide. 

Adventurers can indulge in Explora Parc, a climbing and adventure park just 10 minutes from the campsite. And for a day full of spectacle, there's Puy du Fou, voted the best theme park in the world. Think impressive shows, knights on horseback and even a volcanic spectacle.

Golfing with a sea view? You can play at the 18-hole golf course at Saint-Jean-de-Monts. Or maybe your daughter dreams of horseback riding along the beach? That too is possible. With so much variety nearby, every vacation day will be different!
