As soon as the kids discover the water park, you've lost them –t the right way. With a heated indoor pool, an outdoor pool mét slides and a cheerful paddling pool, there's something for every age. The indoor pool is ideal for chilly mornings or a splash in the evening, while the outdoor pool is perfect for sunny afternoons. Little water rats can splash safely in the paddling pool and play with water toys. In addition, you can walk só onto the beach for a refreshing dip in the ocean. The smell of salt water and the sound of the waves complete the vacation feeling.

The atmosphere at the campsite is wonderfully casual, exactly what you are looking for during a family vacation. While you’re picking up fresh rolls from the camp store in the morning, the children are already on their way to the playground or the bouncy castle. During the day, there is plenty of soccer on the sports field, games at the table tennis tables and participation in sports tournaments and mini-olympics. For the youngest vacationers, there is children's entertainment, while the teenagers have fun in the games room or on the multisport field.

In the evening, everyone gathers again. You might opt for a pizza from the restaurant or a snack at the bar, and then an evening of dancing or a game of bocce under the setting sun. And if you need a quick trip to the centre of La Tranche-sur-Mer, the free shuttle bus will take you right there.

The Vendée is made for cycling adventures. Hire a bike at the campsite and discover the 50 kilometres of bike trails in the area – through forests, along dunes and through picturesque villages. The water also offers: surfing, kitesurfing, wakeboarding or paddleboarding, it's all possible here. The five surf spots and surf schools provide action and fun.

Are you in the mood for an outing? Then hop on the ferry in July or August to the beautiful Île de Ré, a real vacation gem with cosy markets, oysters and charming streets. The kids are often drawn to the beach, but a trip to a local market or a walk along the coast is also a must.
