The Gitzenweiler Hof swimming pool will close at the end of 2025. In 2026 and 2027 a new, sustainable water experience area will be built, opening in May 2028. Meanwhile, there are plenty of alternatives: Lake Constance, Thermen in Lindau and various pools in the region, such as Hallenbad Aquamarin - Wasserburg (approx. 15 min drive), Erlebnisbad Limare - Lindau (approx. 10 min drive) and Strandbad Nonnenhorn (approx. 20 min) on Lake Constance.

Facilities at the Gitzenweiler Hof campsite

On the grounds of the campsite, you can practice many sports in the vicinity of your mobile home. For example, there are table tennis tables, a soccer field, a basketball court, a volleyball court, a trim track and a bowling alley. It is also possible to go horseback riding in the area. If it rains, it is possible to play billiards, video games or air hockey in the arcade. For children, there is a lot to do at the campsite. There is a petting zoo, a bio garden and a children's disco. Many activities are organised for the young and old. There is also a store, bar and restaurant.

This beautiful campsite is just 5 km from Lake Constance. In the green surroundings, you can do many sports and activities. Within 5 km you can windsurf, dive or play golf on the driving range. Highly recommended for a day out are the Walter Zoo and Ravensburg Spieleland. You will have a great time with your children.
 

You must check in and register your vehicle at the main reception on arrival before you can drive into the park. (Opening hours 09.00 -12.00 and 14.00-19.00)
Guests staying in tents should note that they may experience some noise pollution from 05:00 on weekdays. This is due to work on the adjacent railway line. To protect railway staff, an alarm sounds to warn them of approaching trains.

A really nice holiday
Tent had a nice, central spot on the campsite yet not much traffic
2 restaurants, both reasonably priced; Free bus pass for the region
Toilets and shower rooms cleaned severl times a day to a high standard
Beds in tent saggy and uncomfortable for adults.
Ground wasn't cleared before pitcing of tents, so lots of rather uncomforbale stones under the taup on the floor
Kitchen not properly supplied, we didn't have a big saucepan and our neighbors suffered similar shortcomings.
By and large a good stay on a really nice campsite and a lovely area. It could have been top notch with a little more attention from the holiday operator.

Nice space, but you are "close". It is clean and tidy. Toilet buildings etc. are really well maintained and clean. The barrier on the site was annoying and did not work according to Danish license plates. Nice area with many excursion options
