Beach service has to be paid extra for our accommodation for 8 days, again over 100 euros. There was a small store which had bread rolls in the morning which ran out within an hour. The pizzeria made no compromises, simple pasta with garlic or tomato sauce was not on the menu and was refused on request. The service was very nice. The area is very quiet, hardly any shopping streets or ice cream parlors, but there is a Galleria nearby.
