Along the coast of Capitolo, you’ll also find several larger sandy beaches just a few kilometres from the campsite.

Start the day at a leisurely pace with an Italian cappuccino on the terrace, as the sun rises over the Adriatic Sea. At Camping Village Atlantide in Monopoli, moments of relaxation and fun-filled activities blend seamlessly. Your children will soon discover the playground, where they can climb, slide and meet new holiday friends. On the sports pitch, footballs fly towards the goal, whilst exciting matches take place at the table tennis table. In high season, the entertainment team adds an extra touch of liveliness. Just outside the campsite lies a beautiful region full of whitewashed towns, picturesque harbours and unique sights. From Camping Village Atlantide in Monopoli, it’s about a 10-minute drive to the historic centre of Monopoli, some 7 kilometres away. Wander through narrow streets lined with whitewashed façades, admire the colourful fishing boats in the harbour and stroll along the old city walls towards the castle by the sea. Treat your children to a creamy Italian ice cream along the way! Polignano a Mare, about a 20-minute drive away, is also well worth a visit. This impressive coastal village is perched atop steep cliffs and overlooks the azure-blue Adriatic Sea. From the viewpoints, you can admire the famous Lama Monachile beach, tucked away between high rock faces. For an adventurous family day out, drive to Zoosafari Fasano, about 15 kilometres from the campsite. During the safari tour, your children will spot giraffes, zebras and even lions. You’ll discover a whole different world in Alberobello. Here, you can stroll amongst the famous trulli: white cottages with conical stone roofs. The charming little streets look as if they’ve come straight out of a picture book. Don’t forget your camera, because a wonderful photo opportunity awaits around almost every corner!
