A lovely swimming pool is how previous visitors describe the lagoon-like swimming paradise surrounded by loungers and a bar within easy reach. It is naturally designed and at the same time breathes a jet-set atmosphere. Swimming as well as water sports can also be enjoyed in the Ligurian Sea, 2 kilometres away. Wow, Aquapark is nearby.
A camping holiday in Italy means being spoilt by the catering. At the on-site bar, and where not? Beach volleyball, horse riding, and boules are interactive activities, while the youngest let loose in the playground. Table tennis and golf are also available here. For a trip around the area, you can hire bicycles at reception. True to the standards of la bella figura, the grounds are tastefully decorated with olive trees, bougainvillea, and rhododendrons.
Strolling with ice cream, feasting on fresh pizza, and feasting your eyes on the fairytale hills, Porto Maurizio is a sight in itself. Eastwards beckons San Remo, known for the music festival of the same name. With the shimmering sea on your right, the hour-and-a-half drive to Genoa is by no means a punishment. Once in the famous port city, enjoy the historic centre, the dazzling architecture around Piazza de Ferrari, and the pleasant bustle of the narrow streets. You will also find several amusement parks nearby, such as Parco Avventura Genova Pegli.
