Camping Lido di Monvalle

The 3-star Lido di Monvalle campsite is located in a small bay on the southeast side of Lake Maggiore. This holiday park has direct access to the lake with a sunbathing area. In summer, when the water level of the lake is lower, you can relax here on a small sandy beach.  At high tide, it will be smaller/disappear.  Perfect for swimming, splashing, building sandcastles with the kids and sunbathing! At the campsite, you can rent canoes for boat trips with the whole family. For more water sports and various sporting activities like sailing, surfing or water skiing, there are many sports centres and boat rentals around the lake.

Camping Lido di Monvalle is perfect for guests who don't need a lot of hustle and bustle on vacation. Beach volleyball and boccia are offered as sporting activities. The playground and children's entertainment program will keep your children busy. Once a week there is evening entertainment and/or a dance night. A major plus here is the restaurant with bar and fantastic views of the lake. The menu includes Lombard specialties, pizzas, refreshing drinks and a large selection of ice creams. For a leisurely breakfast on your terrace, take advantage of the morning bread service.

The Lake Maggiore region is a beautiful, scenic area with many fantastic views that you can explore at your leisure by bicycle or on foot. The number of routes is large and you can select them according to your stamina and desires. And of course, a boat trip on Lake Maggiore is also a must. Take the ferry from Laveno, 15 minutes away by car, to the Borromean Islands, the gorge of Cannero and the picturesque towns of Verbania and Stresa. The beautiful town of Luino hosts the region's largest and most popular weekly market every Wednesday. For a more extensive sightseeing and shopping trip, head to famous Milan. A visit to the safari and recreation park in Pombia is a must for the whole family.
