Camping Emmen

There is a heated outdoor swimming pool at this campsite in Emmen, where you and your children will have endless fun on fine days. There is more water fun in the vicinity in the form of Beachpark Emmen, various recreational lakes, and DX Adventure Park at 't Gasselterveld, where you can swim, supper, and canoe.

You will lack nothing during this camping vacation at home. The on-site petting zoo is both fun and educational, there is entertainment for all ages and the youngest holidaymakers can have fun in the playground. Crafts, games, and face painting take place in the bad-weather forest. Admire the fish pond, rent a bike to explore the Drenthe countryside and make use of the takeaway restaurant and cozy bar. Simply order breakfast rolls from reception.

The vacation feeling becomes complete with an occasional day out. Of course, you can take the children to what many consider to be the most beautiful zoo in the Netherlands: WILDLANDS Adventure Zoo. Take a family walk, the famous Pieterpad runs right past the campsite. Go shopping across the German border (and cheap shopping) in Meppen or Lingen. See the wondrous dolmens in Borger or find more youthful entertainment in Speelbos Emmerdennen or Belevingspad Hoogersmilde.
