Camping Hunze Bulten

Right in the middle of the grounds lies the campsite’s centrepiece: a large, natural swimming pond. This pond is filled with pure spring water from our own property, making it wonderfully fresh and clear. Surrounding the pond is a lovely play beach where your children can spend hours playing with buckets and shovels. While the little ones splash around in the shallow water, you can enjoy the sun on your towel on the adjacent lawn. In the mood for an active afternoon? Then have some fun spiking a ball on the beach volleyball court right next to the beach. For an afternoon of extra water fun and water slides, Annen’s outdoor swimming pool is also just a short distance from your campsite.

At this campsite, the kids can enjoy themselves outdoors all day long, as there are various play areas scattered throughout the green fields, complete with swings, climbing structures, and a sandbox. Since the grounds are completely car-free, your children can run and ride their bikes here safely and carefree. You can easily transport your belongings to your site using the handy luggage carts. The charming pavilion is located right on the water. It’s the ideal spot for an ice cream, a cold drink, or a simple meal on the cosy terrace overlooking the pond. For your daily needs, there’s a small campsite store where you can pick up warm, fresh rolls in the morning. The modern, clean restroom facility also offers all the comfort you’re looking for, including family-friendly showers.

From the campsite, you can step right into the Drenthe countryside. The beautiful Drentsche Aa National Park and De Duunsche Landen nature reserve are located directly behind the campground and are perfect for a relaxing family walk. For an active adventure, take the kids on one of the special children’s bike routes in the area, or rent a canoe for a trip down the Hunze River. Of course, a visit to the famous hunebeds and the local museums is a must during your stay. Want to really go all out for a day?
