Camping Betuwe

With its own lake to swim in, Camping Betuwe is ideally suited to families with young children. This campsite, which you book with Allcamps, is surrounded by water. The Waal and Nederrijn rivers flow close to the park, but you can also take a refreshing dip in the cooling lakes on the campsite itself. Relax on the fine sandy beach with a good book. It is also possible to fish in the lakes. Try your hand at catching a carp. During the season from 15 March to 15 October, a fishing licence is required.

Kids will experience exciting adventures in the many playgrounds and the enthusiastic recreation team organises all sorts of activities, such as children's bingo, crafts and treasure hunts. The campsite also offers a table tennis table, an air trampoline, a jeu-de-boules pitch, go-kart hire and bicycle hire. There is an attractive restaurant on the site where you can enjoy a tasty meal with the whole family.

From camping Betuwe, you can take beautiful cycle tours along the various fruit orchards in the river landscape. You can also discover the nature of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. Families visit the nature playground Hoppies or the Zoo Ouwehands Dierenpark in Rhenen. There are also special castles nearby, such as Amerongen Castle and Loevestein Castle.
