Not something we’d do again
A lovely swimming spot.
Camping shop available
A neat-looking campsite
Dogs are largely not permitted – not at the swimming lake, the catering outlets or the surrounding fields. With the temperature in the tent reaching 38 degrees, this is simply unbearable for the dog.
As a result, we went home after four days. There was no countryside for walking in the immediate vicinity either. The campsite is situated right next to the motorway. We were looking for more shade so the dog could cool down.
Our hired tent had a nasty, sewer-like smell when we arrived. This happened several times and we don’t know what caused it.

It was a bit of a let-down for us. The weather was lovely, but I wouldn’t recommend this campsite if you’ve got a dog.
