Camping De Twee Bruggen

This luxury campground features an indoor pool and a heated outdoor pool with 4 water slides. There is a paddling pool and spray equipment. The sunbathing lawn is the place to relax. You can also swim at recreational lake the Slingeplas which is located near the campsite.

There is a shared toilet block with laundry facilities, but private sanitary facilities can also be provided. Children can enjoy themselves in the playground or the petting zoo. During the school vacations, extensive entertainment programs're offered, which include older children and adults. The canoe rental makes a trip on the Slinge possible and the bicycle rental is available if you want to explore the area. Sports activities can be enjoyed in the gym or on the tennis court. Here the campground organizes sporting activities such as running, boot camp or mountain biking. Freshly baked bread rolls are available daily at the supermarket. Good food can be eaten in the restaurant. Or do you prefer to order something in the food corner?
 
 

About 20 kilometres from the Twee Bruggen is Bommelwereld, a new indoor amusement park in Groenlo (Achterhoek), completely inspired by the adventures of Olivier B. Bommel and Tom Poes. You step into an indoor world with more than 20 attractions, so even when the weather is not so good, you will be fine. Children can clamber around in the Scramble Warehouse and race, slide or spin in circles, while you relax in between or board together. There are attractions for little ones, for the whole family én for daredevils, such as the BulderBaan, Proton Spitz and Magic Emporium. Also convenient: there is Restaurant Cant & Claer, the Bommel Boutique and even a Bommel attic (museum) and theatre.

Winterswijk has an attractive, centrally located market with nice shopping streets. Or visit the stone quarry. In the historic centre of Bredevoort, you will find a large and very varied selection of books. You can play golf at the golf course de Voortwisch, and the wildlife park Frankenhof is a combination of animal park, troll land and a giant playground. In the climbing forest Achterhoek in Ruurlo, you can climb and clamber, and try to escape from the maze of Ruurlo. Even more outdoor fun can be had at Ketteler Hof with high climbing towers and numerous bouncy castles. Finally, the area around Winterswijk is great for hiking and cycling.
