Swimming Facilities at Camping De Leistert

At Recreation Park de Leistert, endless water fun is the order of the day. You should book a mobile home here if swimming fun is a must for you during your camping holiday. On warm days, enjoy the waves in the outdoor pool after an extended sunbath. The other attraction is a subtropical indoor swimming paradise. Lagoon pools, whirlpools and paddling pools with warm water are available for visitors. The water slides give great pleasure not only to children, but the rapids are very popular for their child-friendliness. This is luxury camping for water rats!

Campers with children make the right decision when they book a mobile home on one of the top sites in the Netherlands. Recreation Park de Leistert is known for its family friendliness. In the indoor play jungle, the little guests go on a voyage of discovery and have great fun with the playground equipment made of robinia wood. Games shows, workshops - the selection of animations at Recreation Park de Leistert is more than worth seeing. The staff provides a great atmosphere for camping with its entertainment program.

Surroundings of Camping De Leistert

A large number of impressive cities can be found just a short drive away from this luxury camping establishment. The historical city of Maastricht is the region’s capital and is packed with interesting places to explore such as the Derlon Museum Cellar, the Vrijthof and the magnificent town hall, while the Saint Pietersberg Caves can also be found on the edge of the city. Nature-loving families can also take a trip to check out the large and lovely Groote Peel nature reserve.

The subtropical swimming pool will be closed from Monday, January 19, 2027, to Thursday, February 5, 2027, due to essential maintenance work on the pool complex.

Great place for families and groups with children.
Reception staff were very nice and good english
Outdoor play areas everywhere
Indoor pool and playgrounds
Waiters at the restaurant were rude/avoided us
Not enough family changing rooms at pool/ changing rooms not big enough
Could have a baby friendly area for babies to play inside/ soft play

Overall we enjoyed our week, there was lots of outdoor playgrounds and indoor parks to play on when the weather wasn’t very good. However our experience in the restaurant ruined one of our days.
