Camping De Haer

This campsite in Ootmarsum has a lovely swimming pool for swimmers of all ages. The youngest use the separate toddlers' section. There are deckchairs around it from where you can relax and watch your children having fun. An indoor swimming pool is fifteen minutes drive away when the weather is less clement.

There are bad-weather facilities anyway, but assuming a nice summer camping holiday, you naturally think of the many outdoor activities. Young holidaymakers swing through the playground and have fun in the bouncy castle. Tournaments are organised on the beach volleyball court and potential Messis practice their skills on the panna pitch. Young and old meet at the table tennis table and let themselves be entertained by the entertainment team. Ordering breakfast rolls, getting takeaway meals, or going out for an evening meal - it's all possible within 100 metres.

Go shopping in the protected townscape of the art village Ootmarsum and visit a museum (e.g. Ton Schulten) or gallery at the same time. Children experience wild adventures in climbing forest AvaTarZ or amusement park De Waarbeek. Of interest is Experiencepark CactusOase or even a visit to Burgers' Zoo, just over an hour's drive away. If you want a day of shopping, set course for Hanseatic cities Zutphen and Deventer, surprisingly cosy Enschede or picturesque German Nordhorn.
