On hot days, the water near the campsite is the place everyone gravitates to. There is no standard pool, but rather something much more fun: natural swimming water. Children jump from the little platform into the fresh water, while little ones paddle on the shallow side. It feels like a small beach, with grass to lie on and plenty of room to picnic or just relax with a book. The water is clean, the atmosphere relaxed - just what you're looking for for a carefree afternoon. Hire everything from SUP boards to small boats and explore the many lakes and waterways around the campground. Not far from the campground is Blokzijl's heated swimming pool. In short, all kinds of water fun await you here.

Children don't need a screen here to have fun. The campsite is spacious, so they romp and run around here. There is also a cheerful entertainment team in high season that does crafts, organises scavenger hunts and sometimes holds a children's bingo! For you, there is a cosy terrace at the eatery, where you can get fresh rolls in the morning and sit down for an easy meal in the evening. Everything is homely and lovingly arranged. And don't feel like cooking for once? Then the snack bar is always nearby. The small camping store ensures that you don't have to look far for that forgotten toothpaste or something tasty to go with your drinks.

Just a few minutes from the campsite is the cosy town of Blokzijl with its narrow alleys, old farms and cosy restaurants. Explore the nearby Weerribben-Wieden nature reserve and discover its rich plant and animal life. Take the kids to Giethoorn, also called the "Venice of the Netherlands," and visit Taman Indonesia Zoo to meet exotic animals with an Asian touch. At Klimbos Paasloo, the whole family can have fun with laser gaming, bubble soccer and other fun outdoor activities - a must for adventurous souls!
