Camping de Schotsman

De Schotsman boasts a heated outdoor swimming pool with several slides, water games and a toddler area with a fountain. There are dressing rooms and plenty of space for lounging in the sun. Sitting right next to Veerse Lagoon, there is also safe beach swimming and sunbathing as well as lots of water sports.

As one of the top campsites in Zeeland, de Schotsman has all the amenities you expect, including a supermarket, laundry facilities, and bike hire making it a 5* site. In addition to a restaurant, there’s also a bar, café, croissanterie, and snack bar. This luxury camping site is a paradise for water lovers with a windsurfing school, surf school, sailing school and teleski-ing all right next to the site with the necessary equipment available to rent. There are go-karts to rent, tennis, beach volleyballs, mini-golf, table tennis, and the recreation programme hosts dancing, fossil hunting, games, and sports for all ages.

The site is on the former island of Noord-Beveland where you can explore iconic country villages, seaside resorts and wide beaches by walking or cycling a much-loved pastime here. Neeltje Jans boasts the largest water theme park in the Netherlands and there are plenty of walking trails in the area. The nearby towns of Middelburg and Veere are home to lovely architecture and several historical sites.
