In the Norwegian town of Lunde, nestled in the gentle landscape of the Telemark region, the First Camp Lunde campsite is located directly on the water of the Telemark Canal. The proximity to the historic locks gives this campsite a very special atmosphere, where peace, nature and shared experiences take centre stage. An ideal place for families who want to make their camping holiday conscious and relaxed.

Water fun at the campsite

Water accompanies you every day of your vacation at the First Camp Lunde campsite. Instead of a pool, the Telemark Canal awaits you right outside the door, its calm surface and passing boats creating a relaxing backdrop. Spending the day on the water and experiencing nature up close is a special experience, especially for families.Canoes, kayaks and SUP boards can be rented directly at the campsite, so nothing stands in the way of spontaneous excursions on the water. The surrounding area is perfect for relaxed tours with the whole family. If you prefer swimming, the Norheimstjønna bathing lake is around 6 kilometers away. Other natural bathing spots such as Nomestrand are also within easy reach at a distance of around 12 kilometers and invite you to enjoy a refreshing swim.

Facilities and entertainment at the campsite

The First Camp Lunde campsite combines comfort with a pleasantly quiet atmosphere. A supermarket store on site and a bread service make everyday life easier and leave room for relaxed holiday moments. Around the lock complex, you will find a restaurant, a bar or a café, which are ideal for an enjoyable break or a dinner together.

Hire bikes and explore the surrounding area. Children will find a playground in the neighbouring Lunde Slusepark, which offers plenty of space to play. The relaxed atmosphere at the campsite makes it easy to leave everyday life behind and concentrate fully on spending time together.

Near the campsite

Only about 0.3 kilometres from the campsite are the Lunde locks with their popular park. The centre of Lunde is about 1 kilometre away, where you will find small shops and restaurants. The Skarravegen along the canal starts about 4.3 kilometres away and is ideal for walks and bike rides. Nature lovers are drawn to the Ajertrangen nature reserve, around 10 kilometres away, while families can enjoy an exciting day out in Bø Sommarland, around 18 kilometres away.
