Less than an hour's drive away, you will reach Maribor, the second-largest city in Slovenia. Stroll through narrow streets, admire colourful facades and taste local delicacies at the market. For active families, there are plenty of options in the area: kayaking on the Mur River, horseback riding through rolling hills or a long hike through unspoiled nature where you won't encounter anyone for hours.
