Cala Montjoi

The sea is always close by here. In fact, the holiday park is located directly on a beautiful bay with crystal clear water. Ideal for families who like swimming, snorkeling or just want to enjoy the beach. No busy boulevards or mass tourism, but a quiet, natural environment where children can play freely in the shallow water. There is a very small pool, but a big pool is not at all necessary here, as the Mediterranean is at its most beautiful here. Snorkel together among the fish or hire a kayak for a trip along the rocky coastline.

Cala Montjoi is a holiday park where everything is about having fun. There is an extensive entertainment program for children, with something new every day: crafts, games, mini-disco and sports tournaments. The children wanted out the door first thing in the morning, onto the climbing frame or the soccer field, where there is always something to do. For the parents, there are yoga classes, beach volleyball, various sports, including padel and even organised walks in nature.

In the evenings, enjoy live music or a family show in the cosy central square. No hassle with cooking, because the buffet restaurant has something tasty every day – from paella to pasta – and you sit outside overlooking the sea. Also convenient: there is a supermarket on site, for that one forgotten carton of milk or an ice cream in between.

The Bay of Montjoi is located in the middle of the Cap de Creus Nature Reserve, a true paradise for nature lovers. Take a boat trip together along the jagged coastline or hike with the family to a viewpoint with a picnic area. A little further away is the picturesque fishing village of Cadaqués, famous for its white houses and its connection with artist Salvador Dalí. A visit to his special house in Port Lligat is highly recommended, even for children.

For an action-packed day, the Aquabrava water park in Roses is a treat for young and old, with high slides, white-water slides and a children's zone. And after such a busy day, it's great to come home to the quiet cove of Cala Montjoi, where you can linger over a drink while the sun slowly disappears behind the rocks.
