Camping in cozy Calella

Camping El Far is beautifully situated on the coast of the Costa Brava in Spain, where you can explore the pleasant town of Calella and take trips to the city of Barcelona. It is a family-friendly campsite with a swimming pool and children's pool, a small playground and a delicious buffet restaurant. Unfortunately, Camping El Far is not suitable for people with mobility problems due to the steep slopes and stairs, but the coastline and beach near the campsite are ideal for both quiet beach days and active water sports. Discover the Water World water park in Lloret de Mar or the Port Aventura theme park from Camping El Far.

Swimming Facilities

At Camping El Far you can use the swimming pool with loungers every day. The pool consists of a small round pool for children with shallow water and a larger pool with a water depth of up to 2 meters. Right next to the pool is an artificial lawn with loungers and space to relax and sunbathe in a quiet environment. You can also go to the beach for swimming or try one of the many activities and water sports. It is a lovely beach with golden sand on the coast of Costa Brava.

Facilities camping El Far

At Camping El Far you will find a small reception, a small supermarket where you can buy groceries all day, a delicious restaurant and free Wi-Fi throughout the campsite. It is not a large campground, but you will find everything you need at Camping El Far and there are plenty of activities just outside the campground. At the reception you can learn more about all the experiences and get help with transportation and tours.

Surroundings camping El Far

You'll find a plethora of activities right outside Camping El Far with a water park and slides, snorkelling, bowling and much more. In summer, the entertainment team offers the coolest activities for children aged 4-15, including billiards, darts, table tennis, petanque and a children's playground. In the evenings, the whole family can enjoy bingo, karaoke, mini-discos and shows with dancing. Take the tourist train through Calella or hop on the bus to Barcelona just 200 metres from the campsite.

 

The campsite is not suitable for guests with disabilities, as it has steep inclines and stairs.

Well run site
Beautiful views from the sea view cabins.
Staff are extremely helpful
Bar/Restaurant is lovely
Very small site but great for short trip or if doing days out

We only stayed the one night at the end of our holiday. The cabin although quite basic, was really clean and had plenty of dishes, and a good shower room. AC was wonderful. And the beds were freshly made up. The pool is quite small but it's a lovely relaxing area. The bar/ restaurant was lovely and the staff were so so friendly. A nice experience all round. Would only stay here for one or two nights as it's very small site and really ideal base of you're doing days out to Barcelona or others places.
