Swimming Facilities at Camping Ametlla

A huge lagoon-style pool can be found in the very heart of Ametlla, while there is also a smaller pool for young children and another that is designed especially for those who want to take part in water sports. Parents will be able to give their children a free rein to splash around during their camping holiday as each of the swimming pools is watched over by fully trained and experienced lifeguards.

The site comes complete with a large football pitch where matches are regularly organised, while sports like table tennis, Zumba, boules and volleyball can also be enjoyed in other parts of this large and luxurious camping site. Stunning coastline, pleasant campsite.
The supermarket was reasonably priced and friendly.
We went mid September so it was really quiet. We liked that there was no animation then.
The setting of the campsite is beautiful. Lots of rocky coves and a stunning coastal path.
By mid-late September we had a few cloudy days.
If you don't have a car, it's not easy to get to from the airports. In September ou are reliant on taxis to get to a L'Amettla unless you walk (which is beautiful along the coast but takes over an hour).
Out of peak season there is no bus to L'Amettla
Quiet and relaxed. Adored the coastline and coastal path. A little frustrated by the clouds and choppy sea some September days, and difficulty of getting around without a car. in September. But adored the coastal walks and snorkeling in the coves when the weather was right. Some days it was breezy and choppy. We loved that we were the only Brits!
